Here are some of our recent festival selections and awards!





The lovely folks at Irish Film London honoured us with the award for Best Irish Short, at the Awards held at the Irish Embassy in Grosvenor Place on 12th November.





AWARDS KLAXON!!!! What a couple of weeks it has been - we came away from the Tweetfest Awards at Hackney Picturehouse on November 27th with three awards!!! Best Short, Audience Award and Best Actress for Maimie McCoy.
Being chosen for the Cork Film Festival is a huge honour!! This prestigious, Oscar - qualifying festival took place in November and we were in competition for the Grand Prix Award.


One of the most meaningful selections for us has been Clones Film Festival. Not only did Nessa grow up in Clones, but our producer Clancie's Dad is a Monaghan man as well! We were extremely excited to take our film "home" to Clones and be part of both the Opening Night Gala on Thursday 25th October and the shorts programme on Sunday 28th October.
An official selection for the London Short Film Festival has just made our day!! This prestigious, BAFTA - qualifying festival takes place in March 2019. We can't wait!


Update! The San Francisco Irish Film Festival has selected Early Days to be part of the stellar line-up from 27-29 September. We will be in great company with films like Matthew Barry's "Michael Inside", Nora Twomey's "The Breadwinner" and Benjamin Cleary's short film "Wave" all showing during the festival.
This is a very special selection for us - the Kerry Film Festival! We're really excited about this one, which screened short films, 'Stutterer' and 'The Silent Child' before they went on to win Oscars!


We were thrilled to have been selected to screen at Raindance Film Festival, London on 29th Sept, 6-8pm as part of the UK Shorts selection.
Only 1 in every 60 films that are submitted to Raindance are chosen, so this was a great honour indeed!
We've been selected as a finalist in the Mental Health and Arts Festival in Lisbon, Portugal. The festival is in it's second year and will take place in November 2018.

We are delighted to have been selected for the Aesthetica Film Festival 2018, which is a BAFTA-Recognised international film festival based in York, UK. The festival takes place from 7-11 November 2018.
They are particularly focused on "filmmakers who are driving the genre of short film forward through inspirational and innovative works."


Early Days was selected for the 30th Galway Film Fleadh, where we had our official World Premiere on 13th July at the Town Hall Theatre. We were nominated for the Oscar Qualifying Tiernan McBride Award for Best Short film, The Donal Gilligan Award for Best Cinematography in a Short Film and The Best Debut Short Award.
We came a close second for the best Debut Short award, with a Special Mention from the judges!
We have been selected for the Au Contraire film festival in Montrèal! Now in its 5th year, the mission of the ACFF is to showcase stirring and thought-provoking films that explore issues of mental illness from different angles.
